MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Simply Healthcare Plans (Simply) will be offering up to seven Medicare Advantage health plans in 11 counties in 2019. Medicare-eligible individuals living in all of those 11 counties will have at least one new Simply plan available to them for next year. These 2019 health plans are open for enrollment in this year’s Medicare annual election period (AEP), which begins October 15 and continues through December 7, 2018.

Individuals eligible for Medicare – people 65 years and older and those with certain disabilities, chronic conditions, and other special needs – are able to enroll in the following 2019 Medicare Advantage health plans based on availability in their county of residence:
- Simply More (HMO)
- Simply Select (HMO)
- Simply Level (HMO SNP)
- Simply Advantage (QMB-only DSNP)
- Simply Complete (DSNP)
- Simply Comfort (IESNP)
- Simply Care (ISNP)
Many of the company’s Medicare Advantage plans, Simply More (HMO), Simply Level (HMO SNP), Simply Select (HMO), and Simply Complete (DSNP), have $0 monthly premiums, because the company recognizes that out-of-pocket costs are an important consideration for many consumers when they’re selecting health insurance.
These Simply Medicare Advantage health plans offer a variety of benefits, which may include:
- $0 copay for preventive dental care
- $0 copay annual eye exam and hearing exam
- Up to $750 hearing aid benefit
- $0 copay for up to 12 acupuncture visits per year
- LiveHealth Online, a service that gives you access to medical professionals through your computer or mobile device
- Up to $71 monthly allowance for over-the-counter medications and health products
- Up to 16 hours of home-based support and caregiver respite assistance, upon approval
- Membership to SilverSneakers, at no extra cost
