Two expanding health care companies will create 60 jobs in Palm Beach County, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County said Tuesday.
Image Skin Care recently purchased a 35,000-square-foot facility in Lantana for its pharmaceutical-grade skin care business. That’s up from the 6,000 square feet it previously occupied in West Palm Beach. Founded in 2007, the 40-employee Image Skin Care plans to hire 30 more people within five years.
Image Skin Care’s products include anti-aging and anti-wrinkle creams, acne treatments and moisturizers sold in 27 countries.
“Palm Beach County offers a prestigious headquarter location, a competitive business environment and a well-prepared workforce,” Image Skin Care President and CEO Janna Ronert said in a news release. “We enjoy our relationship with the Business Development Board, and we’re pleased to have the opportunity to expand our operations in the county.”
Meanwhile, Signet Diagnostic Corp. plans to crate 30 jobs over the next three years after adding 15,000 square feet to its Riviera Beach facility. The medical laboratory and device developer, founded in 1993, makes products to treat irritable bowel syndrome and migraines.
Signet Diagnostic CEO Michael Hoffman said the BDB helped his company pursue funding opportunities, tax incentives and workforce support.
