Sens. Byron L. Dorgan (D-N.D.) and Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine) Jan. 9 said that with a new president who supports the legislation, they expect the new Congress will pass their bipartisan bill to allow American consumers to safely import lower-priced, Food and Drug Administration-approved drugs from other countries.
