RxCrossroads®, an Omnicare company providing specialized solutions specifically tailored to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, today announced the opening of its new National Turnpike Pharma and Bio Logistics Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The new facility is 98,925-square-feet of pharma grade warehouse space and is designed to support growth of the company’s third party logistics business. It also has the potential to create dozens of new jobs. RxCrossroads National Turnpike Pharma and Bio Logistics Center will allow for increased storage of up to 8,000 pallet positions in a controlled room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius. Future plans call for adding refrigerated storage of 2 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius. Space is available for an additional 30,000 square feet storage expansion.
