WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 2006--PhereSys Therapeutics Corporation announced today that Dr. Irving K. Loh has joined the company as its Cardiology Medical Advisor. Under the terms of the agreement, Dr. Loh will provide medical consultation to physicians offering Therapeutic Apheresis (TA) in cardiology applications as well as participate in PhereSys' physician education programs. Special focus will be on Aquapheresis, a new service being offered by PhereSys, for patients with fluid overload due to heart failure.
