Pacific Biometrics’ Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Elizabeth Leary, To Present New Assay At Annual KinMet Satellite Symposium

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2006--Pacific Biometrics, Inc. (OTCBB: PBME - News), represented by its Chief Scientific Officer, Elizabeth Leary, Ph.D., will be featured at the 36th annual KinMet Satellite Symposium. The satellite meeting -- one of the few each year that integrates experimental biomedicine and kinetic modeling -- will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2006, from 12 to 6 p.m., at the Marriott City Center Hotel in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Leary’s presentation will introduce a new ELISA assay to simplify quantification of Apo-B48, an apolipoprotein essential for the assembly, secretion and subsequent metabolism of large lipoprotein particles produced in the small intestine.
