Dr. Ryan has broad scientific experience in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, human genetics, novel therapies, and basic and clinical cancer research, having received his Masters in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology at The Medical College of Georgia, studying sickle cell anemia, and his Ph.D. in molecular genetics at Thomas Jefferson University characterizing DNA and RNA binding properties of zinc finger proteins. Through his extensive training, his experiences extend across the fields of aging, hemoglobinopathies, gene expression, human diseases, DNA, RNA, proteins and their interactions, stem cell research and applications, oncology, clinical protocols and therapies.
