AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) announced today that Phillip A. Sharp, Ph.D., will chair the Institute’s Scientific Review Council overseeing the selection of the agency’s research grants. Dr. Sharp, a world leader of research in molecular biology and biochemistry, is a professor at the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
