SDUT -- Dr. Jay Kranzler is out at Cypress Bioscience after heading the San Diego drug maker for the last 15 years. His departure came less than two weeks after hedge fund Ramius and drug company Royal Pharma, both of New York, acquired the publicly held company for $255 million.
