New Mexico Business Weekly -- Albuquerque-based nanoMR Inc. more than doubled its work force from eight to 20 in the past year. But nearly half of the new hires came from out of state, because nanoMR, which is developing a device to diagnose bacteria in blood within minutes, needs professionals who are experienced in the emerging realm of biomedical engineering, said President and CEO Victor Esch.
