SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nanogen, Inc. (Nasdaq:NGEN), developer of advanced diagnostic products, announced today that Robert Saltmarsh, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will retire at the end of February 2008. Nick Venuto, currently the Executive Director of Finance, will become the Chief Financial Officer upon Mr. Saltmarsh’s retirement. Mr. Saltmarsh will continue to consult with Nanogen, as needed, through the end of 2008.
