WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At their meeting today, the Board of Directors of Merck (NYSE: MRK), known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.38 per share on the company's common stock for the fourth quarter of 2011. Payment will be made on October 7, 2011 to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2011.
