Merck & Co., Inc. (JOBS) to Pay $80 Million to Settle Some Vioxx Cases

Reuters -- Merck & Co has agreed to pay $80 million to settle 190 outstanding claims involving its withdrawn Vioxx pain drug, the company disclosed on Monday.
