Medtronic, Inc. Lays off 240 at California Plant, Shifts Work to Ireland

Memphis Business Journal -- Medtronic Inc. laid off about 240 workers from a cardiovascular division plant in Santa Rosa, Calif., on Friday. The company plans to shift the work to a lower-cost facility in Ireland.
