SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 12, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Medicis (NYSE:MRX) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarter-end cash dividend of $0.04 per issued and outstanding share of its Common Stock payable on April 30, 2008, to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 1, 2008. This represents a 33% increase compared to the Company's previous $0.03 dividend, and is the Company's first dividend increase since September 2004.
