MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The future for DNA analysis is a key focus of this year’s 18th International Symposium on Human Identification hosted by Promega Corporation. Sir Alec Jeffreys, who discovered DNA fingerprinting, will deliver the key note address to kick-off the meeting on October 1. Speakers will also discuss potential new uses of DNA testing such as determining a person’s physical appearance and conducting DNA analysis right at the scene of a crime. In addition, the always popular “interesting cases” will be part of the over 20 presentations and workshops this year.
