Massachusetts, Nimac to Announce Multinational Collaboration and US-EU Conference

BOSTON – As part of next week’s 2012 Bio International Convention in Boston, Senate President Therese Murray (D-Plymouth), Dr. Susan Windham-Bannister of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and members of NIMAC (a life sciences collaboration that includes Massachusetts, Northern Ireland, Finland and the Catalonia region of Spain) will make two important announcements Tuesday, June 19 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Convention’s Massachusetts pavilion (Booth #0137).

The first will detail a multinational collaboration on throat cancer detection and research, and the second will lay out plans for a major US-EU health care conference in Boston this fall.
