Both latecomers to the negotiations, the owners of two sites under consideration as homes for Scripps Florida now are pursuing the county- and state-funded biotech project. The price tags are steep: the 682-acre Briger tract in Palm Beach Gardens could cost $238 million; the 854-acre Parcel 19 in Jupiter is for sale for $150 million.
