Laboratory Corporation of America® Holdings (LabCorp®) (NYSE: LH) today announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
Third Quarter Results
Sales for the quarter were approximately $1.55 billion, an increase of 6.1% over last year’s $1.46 billion. The increase in sales was the result of volume, measured by requisitions, and fold-in acquisitions, which was partially offset by price and mix. Total volume increased 6.9%, primarily due to organic growth.
