(NYSE: KCI), a global medical technology company with leadership positions in advanced wound care and therapeutic support systems, today announced that it has entered into a three-year agreement with The MED Group, a nationwide network of independently-owned home medical equipment (HME), respiratory and mobility companies. Under the terms of the agreement, The MED Group, which has more than 340 member companies and more than 1,000 operating locations nationwide, will be KCI’s preferred HME provider network manager and will provide KCI therapeutic support systems’ referral sources with an efficient and high-quality service to facilitate transfer of patients to the home while ensuring a quicker delivery, more efficient set-up and better patient outcomes.
