Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI) today reported third quarter 2006 total revenue of $350.9 million, an increase of 12% from the third quarter of 2005. Total revenue for the first nine months of 2006 was $1.0 billion, a 13% increase from the prior-year period. Foreign currency exchange movements favorably impacted total revenue for the third quarter of 2006 by 2% compared to the corresponding period of the prior year, but did not significantly impact comparative revenue results for the nine months.
