SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI), a global medical technology company with leadership positions in advanced wound care and therapeutic surfaces, today announced the appointment of Dr. Dan Ciaburri to the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining KCI, Dr. Ciaburri was Attending Cardiothoracic Surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He earned his MD, undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Columbia University. He completed residencies in general and cardiothoracic surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
