(Nasdaq:IRIS), a leading manufacturer of automated in-vitro diagnostics systems and consumables, and a provider of high value personalized diagnostics testing services through its CLIA certified molecular diagnostics laboratory, today announced that it has been granted an extension of its Federal Supply Schedule by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center for the purchase and supply of IRIS's complete line of automated and semi-automated urinalysis instruments, consumables and service. The extension carries the contract, which commenced October 1, 2004, through its new expiration of September 30, 2014.
