Invasive Melanoma Can Indicate Additional Risk for Other Primary Cancers: Presented at AAFP

Doctor’s Guide -- DENVER -- October 5, 2010 -- Survivors of invasive melanoma have an increased risk of developing subsequent primary cancers due to a number of factors, including impaired immunological status, genetic susceptibility, and behavioural issues, researchers reported here at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) 2010 Scientific Assembly.
