InspireMD (OTC:NSPR) is celebrating promising news from a clinical study and CE Mark approval in the European Union for a delivery system designed for its CGuard MicroNet carotid stent.
The CE Mark applies to InspireMD's CGuard RX rapid exchange device, which is designed to improve implantation of the CGuard MicroNet mesh-covered carotid stent. CGuard is meant to help protect patients from plaque debris and blood clots that can break off and lead to major strokes, according to a press release.
