InnoVision Makes Quantum Leap In Diagnostics With 3D Ultrasonic Holography

EDELSFELD, Germany, Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- With 3D ultrasonic holography (http://innovision-consult.com/2016/09/02/diagnostic-quantum-leap-with-3d-ultrasound-holography), Innovision GmbH has created a new and innovative kind of technology. 3D ultrasonic holography can be used in many different areas of medicine and industry. With this non-invasive and time-saving technology, devices can be equipped for ultrasound of the abdomen, joints or breasts.

The advantages of the method are obvious. Preventative and postoperative breast examinations can be conducted as often as necessary, because the technology doesn’t use dangerous radiation. The holographic ultrasound images have a much higher resolution than classic ultrasound can provide, significantly reducing the number of false-positive and false-negative findings.

Another advantage of 3D ultrasonic holography is the reproducibility of the images. This makes it possible to use automated or computer-based data interpretation for mammograms. Even the smallest changes of 0.1 mm are reliably detected. Our novel method can even recognize microcalcifications.

The ultrasound transducer is easy to use, minimizing training time for personnel performing holographic ultrasound. In classic ultrasound, a lot of repositioning is necessary to detect various structures from all possible angles of incidence. However, simply placing the transducer on the area is sufficient when using our holographic method.

Innovision even offers industrial partners the opportunity to produce a forgery-proof finger scanner (http://innovision-consult.com/project/high-security-ultrasonic-finger-scanner) that has already been developed and uses 3D ultrasonic holography. The technology also makes it possible to develop an ultrasonic camera for reliable object detection for self-driving cars and for measuring complex objects or the interiors of vehicles.

Helmut Strehl, managing director of Innovision GmbH in Edelsfeld, Germany, explains the goals of Innovision. “Our innovations make it possible for us to establish many not for profit corporations worldwide and create jobs for thousands of disadvantaged people. Our fast, gentle and affordable technology also makes it possible to provide currently expensive medical examinations to people who don’t have the financial means.”

Financial sponsors and active supporters of the projects are welcome and can contact Innovision at fund2016@innovision-consult.com until the end of September 2016. Production with the support of disadvantaged people will be done at locations where Innovision receives the most support and where the innovations and employees are welcome!
