Xconomy -- ImThera Medical, a San Diego-based developer of a neuro-stimulation device for treating sleep apnea, has raised $1 million of a planned $2.2 million round of equity financing, according to an SEC filing. Marcelo Lima, the firm’s president and CEO, told Xconomy for this March 5 article that he had previously raised $5.1 million for the company. Lima was not immediately available at his company’s office this morning to comment on the financing.
