MedPage -- Combined hormone replacement therapy (HRT) started many years after menopause can improve quality of life for women, researchers here said. The Women’s International Study of Long Duration Oestrogen after Menopause (WISDOM) showed that combined HRT improves sleep, aches and pains, and sexual functioning, according to Alastair MacLennan, M.D., of the University of Adelaide, and colleagues.
