Healthcare Executive and Hospital Leader Chuck Neumann Retires Following Four Decades of Leadership Excellence

Following a career of nearly 40 years in health care leadership, Chuck Neumann, Principal of The Cambridge Group, Inc. and health system leader, announced that he will retire at the end of 2018.

BOSTON, /PRNewswire/ -- Following a career of nearly 40 years in health care leadership, Chuck Neumann, Principal of The Cambridge Group, Inc. and health system leader, announced that he will retire at the end of 2018. The decision, a long time in the making, will mark the end of a career shaping the health and wellness of communities across the country and supporting care providers and administrators in their care for patients.

Throughout Neumann’s four decades in health care leadership he has made his mark on all those he led; from physician and employees to patients and community partners. Since 1989, Neumann has focused exclusively on providing transitional management services to healthcare organizations, helping 14 different entities refocus and reengage on their core mission and commitments.

Since 2014, Neumann has served in several roles at KentuckyOne Health, first as interim leader at Saint Joseph London and University of Louisville Hospital and most recently as interim President of the KentuckyOne Health system. Prior to his time in Kentucky, Neumann held leadership roles at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Md., Bon Secours Health System, Inc. in Marriottsville, Md. and at local Bon Secours health systems in Florida, Kentucky and Maryland. Neumann has also collaborated with FTI Healthcare Group, where he provided executive leadership to health systems, and developed and led strategy assessments, business integration and operations enhancement.

Neumann joins his wife in retirement and plans to spend time with family and pursuing personal interests.
