FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. (“GTC”, NASDAQ: GTCB) today reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended January 3, 2010. The total net loss for the fourth quarter was $1.7 million, or $0.09 per share, compared with $6.2 million, or $0.60 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2008. The total net loss for 2009 was $27.9 million, or $2.18 per share, compared to $22.7 million, or $2.31 per share, for 2008.
