DETROIT, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Greektown Casino-Hotel officials announced today that they have received their Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) from the city six days earlier than anticipated. The first phase of the TCO was granted by city inspectors on January 30 for floors one through 23, granting the occupancy for staff to set up operations. Today, the second and final phase of the approval process was completed, which means that the balance of the property - floors 24 through 30 - has been granted and the full tower is now ready for public access. The Greektown Casino-Hotel tower is set to open to the general public at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 12.
