Wesdyk has joined the company as vice president of business development and strategic planning, a new position reporting to company president and chief executive officer Paul Fischer, Ph.D. Mr. Wesdyk joins GenVec from Guilford Pharmaceuticals where he served as vice president, business development, after spending 16 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb in various product and business development positions, most recently as director of corporate development.
