"Bank in a Box" features GenVault's GenPlate® -- a multiwell DNA storage plate embedded with aliquots of proven media for the archiving of DNA from a variety of biosample types. Another feature of GenPlate is GenCode, a permanent sample identification system consisting of an oligonucleotide based tag that comigrates with the sample through downstream analysis.
