Gallbladder Risk no Higher With Newer “Pill” - University of British Columbia and Collaborators Study Finds

(Reuters Health) - Despite concerns that one of the newer forms of birth control pill might carry a higher risk of gallbladder disease, a new study suggests that is not the case. It’s been known that compared with other women, those on birth control pills have a higher risk of gallstones and other gallbladder disorders, such as gallbladder inflammation.
