MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Women with elevated levels of a substance called HE4 in their blood may be more likely to have ovarian cancer, according to results of a prospective study recently published on-line in the journal of Gynecologic Oncology. The findings offer a positive step forward in the quest for a test for early detection of the disease dubbed the “silent killer” for which there is no adequate screening test.
