SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fluxion Biosciences announced the publication of a paper entitled “Mutational Analysis of Circulating Tumor Cells Using a Novel Microfluidic Collection Device and qPCR Assay”, demonstrating the capability to detect mutations in circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from cancer patients. CTCs are cells that disseminate from primary tumors and contribute to the spread of the disease to other parts of the body. The IsoFlux System recovers these rare tumor cells from a standard blood draw and prepares them for molecular analysis.
