One lawyer played a key role in two deals on what was a record-setting day for health-care mergers and acquisitions.UnitedHealth Group Inc. was involved in the biggest deal, the $12.8 billion purchase of drug-benefit manager Catamaran Corp., while Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. announced a $3.5 billion agreement to acquire Auspex Pharmaceuticals Inc. Horizon Pharma Plc agreed to buy Hyperion Therapeutics Inc. for $1.1 billion to get drugs for rare diseases. And Fujifilm Holdings Corp. announced that it will acquire Cellular Dynamics International Inc., a maker of human cells, for $307 million.
