FDA Approves Triple-Drug Antihypertensive Polypill

MedPage Today -- The FDA gave its official thumbs-up to the antihypertensive polypill as initial therapy. Exforge HCT contains the calcium channel blocker amlodipine, the angiotensin receptor blocker valsartan, and the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide.
