The solution is designed specifically for physicians and is distinct from the hospital’s EHR, allowing emergency physicians to document in a way that is most comfortable for them. Accessed via a simple, intuitive physician portal, physicians chart on familiar complaint-specific templates. The saved document is converted to a natural language chart, which is instantly available for viewing. Edits and updates to the preliminary chart are easily accomplished with the same interface. Once the chart is complete, it is instantly available for centralized chart review, coding and billing, and can be sent to the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record, EDIS, or medical records. This solution meets the hospital’s requirements for an electronic chart, and provides the physician group with a standard charting experience across multiple hospital clients.
