EMD Serono, Inc., a subsidiary of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today the appointment of Paris Panayiotopoulos as President and Managing Director of EMD Serono. In this capacity, he will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the US commercial organization, as well as managing the operations of the US subsidiary.
