WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DuPont has appointed Phuong Tram Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective Jan. 1, 2008. Tram is currently vice president - DuPont Information Technology (IT) Integrated Service Delivery
Tram, 53, succeeds Robert R. Ridout, 61, who has elected to retire Dec. 31 after 39 years of service with DuPont.
Tram joined DuPont in 1990 and served in a variety of business and functional management positions in Australia and Singapore. He transferred to Wilmington, Del., in 1999 as the IT and eBusiness director for the Agriculture & Nutrition businesses. In 2004, he assumed IT responsibility for DuPont global operations and functions, as well as IT leadership for Asia Pacific and Canada. He was appointed to his current position in December 2006.
