Digisonics’ unique DigiNet Pro application, with fully functional remote reading and editing capabilities, was one of the primary reasons Laurens County Health Care System decided to replace its incumbent CVIS installed at its facility in Clinton, S.C. with the top-ranked Digisonics system. Clinicians there will now be able to read Echo studies and complete reports locally and at remote locations via the Internet. DataLink modules will streamline the site’s clinical workflow and auto-import patient data from its GE ultrasound system into the DigiView cardiology application. Medical information will also be transmitted via HL7 interfaces for Orders-In/Results-Out with the site’s CPSI information system.
Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla., purchased DigiView Review software for high-performance review of digital images and structured reports. Combined with the site’s DigiView Image Management and Structured Reporting System, the top-rated CVIS in 2008 and 2009, clinicians will have full imaging and editing capabilities with professional and structured reporting, along with a searchable clinical database.
