LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2010) - Diagnostic Imaging International Corp. (OTCBB: DIIG) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Canadian Teleradiology Services (“CTS”), has entered into a new agreement to provide Teleradiology services to a hospital in south-western Ontario.
CTS signed a new contract to provide teleradiology services to a large hospital. CTS hardware has already been installed on site, and the Company is now completing the IT set-up with Company radiologists and hospital staff. Service is expected to commence within the next 30 days. The contract engages CTS for Teleradiology services weekdays from 5 p.m.-8 a.m., and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. The client hospital runs many types of studies using modalities that include MR’s, CT’s, Ultra Sounds and X-rays, all of which will be a part of the reading services that CTS will provide.
The new client contract should increase current company revenues by up to 25%. With this contract CTS will increase its cash flow and should become profitable.
CTS is continuing to grow its business by aggressively adding new client contracts and increasing radiologist reading revenue.
“The addition of this new contract demonstrates the success of Teleradiology, CTS and how the e-health market place is the wave of the future for the medical industry,” said Richard Jagodnik, CEO. “The development of CTS since its acquisition by DIIG is proving to be very beneficial to Diagnostic Imaging, improving the bottom line and creating shareholder wealth”
