BOSTON, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Cohesive Technologies announced today that it has further expanded its instrument product line to include the Transcend Series High Turbulence Liquid Chromatography (HTLC) Systems, which combine the power of online sample preparation -- using Cohesive’s patented TurboFlow(R) technology -- with the speed of ultra chromatography to significantly save time and speed analysis.
Cohesive’s Transcend Systems are the first liquid chromatography (LC) systems that unite the ability to perform online sample extractions with the power and resolution of ultra chromatography. These combined capabilities allow chromatographers to eliminate sample preparation and minimize ion suppression, while providing faster analysis and better resolution. As a result, customers are able to get better data faster by obtaining hundreds of more injections.
In addition to eliminating sample preparation and providing faster analysis, Cohesive’s Transcend Systems give chromatographers the flexibility to perform turbulent flow chromatography, Cohesive’s patented online extraction technology, as well as the ability to run existing LC methods all on one system, which is unique to the market. This configuration allows users of the system to switch back and forth between online extraction methods and conventional LC methods simply by selecting the method in Cohesive’s Aria software. Cohesive’s Transcend Systems are also available as multiplexed systems, which are independent, parallel, multi-channel systems that enable you to more than double the number of samples analyzed by one mass spectrometer.
