NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 2006--Reflecting substantial acquisitions in fiscal year 2006, Clinical Data, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDA - News) today reported financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2006. Total revenue for the year ended March 31, 2006 increased 22% to $68.8 million as compared to $56.4 million in fiscal 2005. The increase was primarily due to including the operating results of Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Icoria, Inc. from the dates of their acquisition. Genaissance was acquired in October 2005 and Icoria was acquired in December 2005. Product revenue in our traditional business increased 2% to $50.6 million in fiscal 2006 versus $49.8 million in fiscal 2005.
