A confectionery manufacturer in Australia pulled Mars Bars and Snickers off its shelves in New South Wales state after a contamination threat. MasterFoods said the tow popular chocolate bars were being withdrawn from sale across NSW because of the threat by an unknown offender who claimed to have poisoned seven chocolate bars.Detective superintendent Peter Cotter said police were taking the threat seriously after a contaminated chocolate bar was last month sent to confectionery maker MasterFoods, which produces both Snickers and Mars Bars.
