IRVING, Texas, July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Carrington Laboratories, Inc. today announced it has expanded its international product line distribution network with the recent signing of two sales distribution agreements.
The Boushahri Group, WLL, of Kuwait will distribute several of the Carrington product lines, including its products for wound care, skin care, oral care, incontinence and dietary supplements, in Kuwait and Iraq. The Kuryapi Company will exclusively distribute Carrington's line of oral care products in Turkey.
Both three-year agreements were finalized in June 2006.
Carrington utilizes naturally-occurring polymeric carbohydrates to manufacture CE marked products for mucositis, radiation dermatitis, wound, and oral care. Brand names include Carrasyn(R)V Hydrogel and CarraSmart(TM) Gel, Foam, and Film for wound dressings, RadiaGel(TM) and RadiaCream(TM) for radiation dermatitis, CarraDerm(TM) and the Carrington(R) line of moisturizing creams, and OraRinse(TM), OraBan(TM) and OraPatch(TM) for mouth irritations.
The Company also manufactures and markets the nutraceutical raw material Manapol(R), derived from the Aloe vera L. plant. Carrington's line of dietary supplements for enhancing the immune system are available in capsule, tablet, liquid and powder form and are marketed under the Manapol(R) brand.
