ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati, Ohio) recently installed a CARESTREAM DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System that routinely captures more than 100 X-ray imaging studies a day in its emergency department trauma bays and multiple critical care areas. The renowned 598-bed hospital is the third highest ranked children’s hospital in the United States for 2014-2015 according to U.S. News & World Report.
The new mobile imaging system provides physicians and staff with access to high-quality images in as little as five seconds. Specialized imaging software creates secondary images from the initial X-ray exposure that are designed to optimize visibility of PICC lines, tracheal tubes and other medical devices that need to be correctly positioned.
