CAP Statement on Latest Surprise Billing Proposal from Ways and Means Committee

The legislative framework on surprise medical bills put forward by the House Ways & Means Committee clearly shows there are more options to address this important issue. The CAP remains focused on a balanced solution that holds patients harmless and does not institute a lopsided reimbursement mechanism to settle billing disputes between insurers and physicians.
