Canada’s top health official warned yesterday that his government may try to stop prescription drug shipments to US consumers if the trade keeps growing. The remarks by Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh, who spoke at Harvard Medical School in Boston, echoed previous Canadian worries that the sale of low-cost drugs to Americans by Canadian Internet pharmacies will cause domestic shortages and harm Canadian patients. But this time the warning was stronger.
